As a past winner of Stockton Children’s Book of the Year, on Saturday 24th March, Georgia Byng will be giving a talk about the Molly Moon book series and film.

Georgia’s talk is part of a celebration marking 21 years of Stockton Children’s Book of the Year. 14 other past winning authors will attend the event over Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March at Stockton Central Library in the UK. Other authors in attendance include: Pete Johnson, Thomas Bloor, Barbara Mitchelhill, Megan Rix, Piers Today, Tamsin Cooke, Peter J Murray, Kaye Umansky, Vivian French, Alan Temperley, Michael Lawrence, S.F. Said and Livi Michael.

On Saturday 24th March Georgia will run the following sessions and book signings:

Sessions: 10.45am – 12.15pm & 1.15pm – 2.15pm
Book signings: 11.45am – 1215pm & 2.15pm – 2.45pm

To celebrate the release of the movie Pan Macmillan have published a special edition of the first Molly Moon book that the movie was based on.

The UK movie premier took place as part of Into Film Festival’s programme on 24 November at the ODEON in Covent Garden, London. Raffey Cassidy came down from Manchester to watch it on the big screen. She is brilliant in the movie.

Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism has been selected for the Tumbleweeds Film Festival, Utah. The festival will run from 25 – 27 September 2015. Details about the screening will follow shortly.

Molly Moon’s Incredible Book of Hypnotism is going to be screened at the Peace and Love Film Festival in Sweden. Georgia will be there to sign books and will also be doing talks at local schools.
